Birthday

A person will be honored by celebrating a birthday party. This has been a tradition of many cultures. A birthday party is usually held with colorful decorations such as balloons and confetti, and an assortment of foodstuffs and drinks. The birthday cake is the main feature of the foods served. Most often, candles are placed on top of the birthday cake. The birthday celebrant can blow the candles and make a “birthday wish”. Of course, the singing of the “Happy Birthday To You” and giving of gifts to the celebrant is part of the party.

A birthday celebration is divided into three concepts; these are the Milestone Birthdays, Baby’s 1st Birthday and Kids Birthdays. Milestone Birthdays are special to adults. The purpose of this celebration is to emphasize the bright side of aging. Celebrating a baby’s first birthday is mostly done with lots of pictures, with many gifts and toys. Kids’ birthdays are made colorful and attractive to young guests, with plenty of balloons, party hats and give-away stuff. This is livelier due to the activities and games involved in the celebration.
